Circa 1830's, an antique watch style Gold locket. this piece has had a life and what we have is the surviving parts of an old mourning locket in the Rococo style. It would have once had a hinged opening, but we could see it still had charm and poignancy due to the beautiful hand engraving and neatness of the woven hair kept safe under glass these two centuries. 

Please inspect our photographs closely as there is some damage to the 9ct Gold side. It  measures 3.5cm top to base.
